Hunter Valley Zoo is home to some of our great Australian Mammals along with Mammals from all over the world. Our interactive yards allow you to pat some of our farmyard goats, sheep, deer, kangaroos and wallabies and the opportunity to feed them as well. Our front reception sells special animal feed to feed these animals and its a great experience for the kids. See some of our Aussie Icons; the Koala and Wombat in their daily shows Shows and Keeper Talks and see the Kings of the valley the African Lions. The Lions are most active in the mornings and when they get extra treats at the daily shows but you will see them 'lion' around for most of the day as big cats do.
